Over 2.5M Voters Go To Poll To Elect New Governor In Anambra

Anambra electorate are today going to the polls, to elect a new governor who will take over from the incumbent, Gov Willie Obiano, on March 17, 2022.

Candidates from eighteen registered political parties are contesting the ballot.

Arrangements have been concluded by INEC, the Police, other security agencies, and other stakeholders for a free, fair and credible polls.

According to the Independent National Electoral Commission, over two point five million registered voters are expected to participate from across the state.
