Unknown gunmen opened fire on passers-by at Neokeisima intersection Umulogho in Obowo Local Government Area of Imo State on Friday evening, November 5, killing three people on the scene.

According to The Nation, the shooting, which occurred at 7.50 p.m., sparked chaos as residents and passers-by fled for their lives.

According to an eyewitness, the perpetrators sped to Umuahia in Abia State in the automobile as the victims were drenched in blood. When contacted, CSP Michael Abattam, a spokesperson for the State Police Command, said the police had not yet received a report of the event. He said, “I’ll look into the issue and get back to you.”
