Shehu Sani, a senator from Kaduna, has praised the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) for canceling the sit-at-home order that had been imposed to coincide with the governorship elections in Anambra on November 6, Saturday.

Sani believes that democratic elections should never be jeopardized for political reasons.

“No political purpose should be allowed to undermine, subvert, or suffocate democratic elections; the cancellation of the Anambra sit-in protest is welcome.
