Nasarawa state Governor, Abdullahi Sule has awarded contract for the upgrade of the hallowed chamber of Nasarawa State House of Assembly.
This is to enable it meet up with the global best standard of legislative chamber with the state of the arts facilities for quality service delivery.
Speaker of the House, Balarabe Abdullahi revealed this during the House sitting in Lafia the state capital.
“I am pleased to inform you that His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr.
Abdullahi Sule, has approved the contract for the upgrading of the Hallowed Chamber of this honourable House.
“The contractor handling the project will commence work tomorrow, Tuesday by God’s grace and it is on this note that I want to officially informed Hon.
members and staff to excuse the contractor to do the job diligently,” the Speaker said.
“We sincerely appreciate and thank his Excellency for the gesture, the House will be resuming after the completion of work ,” the Speaker added.
The House adjourned its sitting till further notice.
