Sen. Ahmad Sani Yarima has met with the Women wing of Christian association of Nigeria (WOWICAN) ahead of his 2023 presidential aspiration.
The event, which was held in Abuja, saw the attendance of WOWICAN Leaders from the 19 northern states and FCT.
In her remarks, the WOWICAN deaconess Mrs Victoria Ihesiulor, expressed optimism in the person of Yarima to lead the country come 2023.
She said that by this consultation he has shown that he is ready to work with everyone, adding that Yarima belonged to the class of people who would not be influenced by religious or sectional difference.
“Yarima is a man of peace, tranquility and he is someone who believes in the oneness of Nigeria.
“You can see from the attendance today, women of the Christian background from all the northern states are consulting with him in order to have a proper decision on who to vote come 2023”
Yarima expressed satisfaction and assure them of his mandate aimed at bringing unity and peace to the county.
“If I become the president of this country, I will ensure we work with you to ensure unity and progress of this country, you will find in me a good leader who will be fair and just to everyone in this country” he said.
