2023 Election: Grandma joins Presidential race

A 102 year-old woman and founder of the Voice for Senior Citizens of Nigeria, Nonye Josephine Ezeanyaeche
, has declared her intention to join the 2023 presidential race.

She is from from Aguata LGA, Anambra State.

Mama Africa (as she’s fondly called) says “she has great and laudable plans to be executed in Nigeria if given the mandate.

”
According to her, she is ready and willing to contest if the younger generation of Nigerians are not ready.

“If Nigerians are shying away from political participation, especially the younger ones, I am ready to present myself.

“I have my manifesto ready, and I have the vision to move this country forward,” she said.
