2022 Labor Day Closures for Seattle Parks and Recreation

Many Seattle Parks and Recreation facilities will be closed Monday, September 5 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

These facilities and services are CLOSED:

  • All recreation programs
  • Community centers and teen centers
  • Environmental learning centers
  • Indoor swimming pools
  • Green Lake Small Craft Center
  • Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center
  • Amy Yee Tennis Center
  • Seattle Japanese Garden and Volunteer Park Conservatory (closed regularly on Mondays)

These facilities are OPEN on regular schedules:

  • Parks
  • Colman and Mounger outdoor pools
  • Sprayparks
  • Wading Pools (Green Lake, Lincoln Park, Van Asselt, and Volunteer Park)
  • Lifeguarded beaches (Madison, Magnuson, Pritchard, and West Green Lake Beach)
  • Boat ramps
  • Golf courses and ranges
