Police have issued an appeal for public assistance in finding a 13-year-old boy who has been missing from Nambour since Sunday evening, March 12.
The boy in question (pictured) is believed to have boarded a train headed for Brisbane and was last seen on foot in Queen Street, Brisbane City, near the junction of Adelaide Street.
There have been no reported sightings or contact with friends or family since then.
Police are anxious about the boy’s welfare, given his young age and the fact that his disappearance is entirely out of character.
The boy is described as being Caucasian, approximately 150cm tall with a slim build, and hazel eyes.
When last seen, he was wearing black shorts and t-shirt, with a long silver neck chain.
Police are urging anyone with information concerning his whereabouts to contact them, or to encourage the boy himself to come forward.
